Sleepytime-Moon-01My magic wand and the Dream Fairy continues spreading loving kindness with Sleepytime Dreams Audio CDs or MP3s! We did a pilot program at one of the Goddard Schools for Children in St. Louis this past month. The guided meditation for nap-time has been a big success and will continue! Many of the teachers also enjoy the Stress Buster program for themselves. These programs were also tested at a Denver Area Montessori with great reviews. Let us know if you want these programs for your home or school!

All of us can use a little peace from daily stress and our over active monkey-mind. That’s the chatter of thoughts that seem to go on endlessly. Meditation and Guided Imagery are one of the best tools we have to build brain elasticity and counter negativity and stress. Plus, guided imagery can lead to an increase in positive experiences, and connect us to the present moment. Ample research concludes that having a regular meditation practice produces benefits for mental and physical wellbeing. Some of these include:

  • Decreased anxiety, depression, and sleep issues
  • Reduced blood pressure and hypertension
  • Lowered cholesterol levels
  • Less production of “stress hormones,” including cortisol and adrenaline
  • More efficient oxygen use by the body and improved immune function
  • Plus, increasing the anti-aging hormone DHEA

It’s an exciting time because the research in quantum physics shows that your perception of reality affects and can even alter your reality. So if the majority of the time you are experiencing negative thinking and beliefs that is what you will draw into your life. So focus on the good, watch what you think, and do guided meditation!

“Finish each day before you begin the next, and interpose a solid wall of sleep between the two.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

According to the Centers for Disease Control, over 70 million Americans suffer from sleep issues and wakefulness. With our 24 hour cable channels, internet, and smart phones, it’s no wonder we have trouble winding down before sleep. It’s so important to empty our minds, release our thoughts and worries. Whether you have sleep problems or not, guided meditation can help you release your day, as you drift off to sleep, so that you can have a deep and restful sleep. At www.HeartTalkNow.com, we offer custom Guided Imagery sessions, “Blissful Sleep” audio program for Adults and Sleepytime Dreams for young children. Your mind and body craves rest to function at its best. Treat yourself to a relaxing restful sleep!
